Stretch App Reviews
This app, as an idea, is amazing. However, it seems to assume that I am motivated by dolled up nymphs who stare sexily at me while wearing clothes that are most often not appropriate for professional workplaces. If Im anything but a straight dude, Im going to feel very uncomfortable using this application and it winds up doing the exact opposite of promoting my desire for a healthy body. If the app had a more professional set of videos, Id recommend it to everyone in the world. As such, it basically insults much of its potential audience.
Its a great app but the videos are way over the top. Id be way to embaressed to use this in an office setting. The video model is just way over-the-top sexy / flirtatious. And her attire is inappropriate with very skimpy tops that bare most of her midrift. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the concept of showing actual videos, but something less suggestive and more generic would be great. Even it is was just some classy line illustrations instead of videos. Great app otherwise.
Excellent!
This app is excellent. The girl is beautiful and she is the reason why I take a break every time. :)
Best break reminder
Just see from developer site. Its cool so I bought it asap. Very beautiful. modern design. Cute and little sexy model! Love it!
Great app for break
Most of apps in market seems boring and not attractive. This app is opposite. Very enjoy when the reminder shows up.
Love it!
Its a great app for healthier working life. Worth $9.99. Attractive girl! and simple design!
I cant say enough about this app. I love the customability of specifying time intervals and how many different stretches. The model is so beautiful and lifts my spirit with her smiles. Plus such a beautiful setting and interface. This is my favorite app ever. Give it a try and see for yourself!
App could be very good with some modifications (pause so that the reminder doesnt come up during a meeting, option to continue counter even when away from the computer, say, reading a paper, etc.), but the developers are not responsive at all. As it is, the app is mediocre at best. Dont buy. Will update if things change.
Great app! Keeps my body loose and limber during stressful work assignments. The girls smile is really uplifting, and the stretch segments are not at all time consuming, allowing you to get back to work ASAP, refreshed and ready. You can customize which stretches and the amount of stretches you want to do (mines 5) and set desired break intervals (50 min for me). However, if you put your mac to sleep, the timer resets, luckily, theres an option to break whenever you want to. There are also noticable product placements. Cameraman shoots at angles that gives you "tasteful" views of the models bod. Would be nice if they had an update to allow you to select different smiley men/women to stretch with.☺

CANT FIGURE OUT - NO SOUND/ SMALL PICTURE/ DOSENT DO ANY THING AT ALL/ HOW IS IT SUPPOSE TO WORK.
I felt a difference right away
This is a great app. Cant beat it for $2. I like how customizable it is. Some might be put off by the woman in the videos.
A break reminder app. So simple anyone could do it, right? Wrong. This is easily the best of these types of apps Ive seen & used. At first, I thought it was a bit intrusive, but after taking seriously the need to give my physiology proper breaks during often 15-hour or more sessions, Ive found this app to be CORRECT as well as useful. Thank you, Squid Melon. Really well done!
It’s OK
It is simple and useful, doesn’t crash, but it isn’t great.
I love the idea for the app. Functions well. However, this is completely innappropriate for use in a professional setting. The model is wearing skimpy outfits in some of the stretches (super short and tight skirts, cleavage showing). I wanted to use this in the office but I would be so embarrassed if someone saw my screen.
I don’t see how you could call this “non-intrusive”. A huge video with a person appears for each break. If that’s “non-intrusive” then what would be intrusive???
I think this is a great product and idea. Customizable enough to work for anyone. The model is cute and friendly enough to make you want to stretch. I also use this to remind me to do other things away from my desk. I do not think the remind is intrusive. It is large enough to not ignore and the model coaxes you into stretching. I do with they had some excersices that would strenthen your core. I think that would help a lot of people with back problems in conjunction with the proper way to sit at your desk. The strech videos are short enough to keep you attention and are pleasent to watch. The stretching demostrations are focused on a desk work environment where you are using a chair. This is great because it’s not some random area like a gym or living room where the stretches take place in the demonstrations. These people really took the time to create these videos and put thought into it as if they were the end user instead of throwing a bunch of free domain or rushed crappy videos together into an app. I am suprised that this app does not go for more. I also wish they had a water intake reminder (maybe a paid add-on)
